Floor Coverings
With the Step-Clip Champion stair nosing system, visually appealing staircase renovations with parquet or laminate can be realised with floor covering thicknesses of 7 - 14 mm without visible screws. In addition, the easy-to-install 2-part system can be installed on straight and spiral staircases and landings. For the installation of the stairs, Küberit® offers an sloping edge. For open staircases, a facing edge is available. In addition to the anodised colours, the system is also available with highly abrasion-resistant decorative foil.
Installation instructions
Fastening method - for screwing:
Cut profile to size - drill holes - insert dowels - screw in base profile - or screw in directly - observe specified expansion joints - attach top profile and clip in place
Fixing method - for gluing:
Cut profile to size - substrate should be level, firm, dry and load-bearing - clean substrate with a suitable cleaner - position and press on base profile - observe specified expansion joints - position and clip in top profile
