Keep your distance - In times of Corona, this is one of the most important rules, but for many it has not yet become routine. That is why in some stores there are markings indicating that you should keep your distance.
However, practice shows that these markings often do not have the necessary effectiveness in everyday life. Furthermore, depending on the quality of the marking and foot traffic of
the area, they quickly wear out and become unappealing.
The new Küberit special profiles are an elegant solution, which due to their different abrasion classes (from AC3 to AC5) do not lose anything of their high quality and appearance even in very highly frequented areas. The reference to the distance rule is embedded in the Küberit profile. Because of the different heights of 2mm or 3mm there is an optical and tactile hint:
With the connecting profiles you achieve a multi-sensory response and thus a constant higher awareness, as well as observance of the distance rule.
For a safer hygienic and discretionary distance
These tactile floor profile solutions with the indication of distance are ideal wherever a hygienic and discretionary distance is important; for example in customer and service areas of banks, offices, hotels, pharmacies or retail in general.
Wear and tear resistant in highly frequented areas
These German manufactured profiles are self-adhesive and have a high abrasion-resistant coating (from AC3 to AC5). The standard self-adhesive versions with a width of 40 or 80 mm and a length of 1,000 mm can be mounted on any modern floor covering. If you decide to apply a silicone adhesive to these profiles, they can be reinstalled without leaving any residue. The narrower version with 40 mm can also be used for splash protection walls. Attached to the edges, the profiles also ensure greater stability of the structure.
In addition to the standard version in signaling colours, the notice profiles canbe produced in numerous languages, language combinations and design versions. On request, we can also produce profiles in your corporate design.

We are all - some more, some less - affected by the corona wave. We can of course understand that you and your customers want to prepare as well as possible for the upcoming uncertainties. Here a short update to the situation at Küberit:
We are able to deliver and perform.
The previous company, school and kindergarten closings have no impact on our ability to deliver at the moment. We have prepared ourselves well in recent weeks and organised our processes in such a way that we can continue to work smoothly and process all orders on time. At present, we do not expect any impairment of the supply of goods or shortages of raw materials. Our supply chains are - as of now - absolutely stable, as we buy our material in the area of the European customs union and do not process goods from China, for example.
We do not expect any dramatic falls.
Therefore, as things stand today, we do not expect any dramatic slumps in our performance. Whether the corona wave will have an impact on our supply chain at a later date is difficult to assess at present. Like many in our industry, we are concerned that the flooring industry has announced supply bottlenecks in some areas, but at the same time we trust that retailers and tradespeople will have strategies to redirect demand.
We follow the recommendations of the RKI (Robert Koch Institute).
Of course, we adhere to the generally expressed recommendations of the RKI: We reduce travel and personal meetings to the bare essentials, respect the individual measures of our customers and avoid large gatherings of people. Today, Küberit is positioned in such a way that we can work well in the next weeks despite these restrictions without any impairment of quality and delivery. Please be assured that we will do everything to maintain the current delivery performance or to optimize it further.
The maintenance-free movement joint profiles Motion Star® from Küberit were especially developed for the transfer of screed joints into the upper floor. Due to the flush laying to the floor, a barrier-free floor area is created, which is indispensable especially in public institutions and more and more in the private sector. The patented profile solution made of anodised aluminium is used for fully bonded floor coverings and, due to the visible area of 14.5 mm, is not only elegant and graceful but also highly resilient.
Profiles 323 G and 324 G have been developed for covering thicknesses from 12.5 mm to 15.0 mm. The permanently elastic movement joints are laid in a marked, central starting position, thus ensuring a movement joint of ± 3.0 mm. As the mechanism works without silicone, the aluminium profiles do not require maintenance. Despite a profile width of 67 mm, there is only a visible surface of 14.5 mm after installation. The factory pre-assembled movement joint profile allows a threshold-free transition, thus avoiding tripping hazards and providing more safety. The profiles are available in a length of 2.7 m and are produced for the anodised silver and stainless steel look.

At the Domotex in January, Küberit will show once more that also profiles, profile systems and stair nosing profiles made of aluminium can not only become technically more and more comfortable, sustainable and flexible, but also optically enrich the interior design.
Beside the customer's request for a bigger choice of colours, Küberit can also meet the request for a discreet covering of edges with very delicate angles from January on. Furthermore, new stair nosing profiles including shaped parts and round corners for the optimal laying of design and laminate coverings on stairs will extend the product range in the future.
