Expansion joint profiles and movement profiles

The Küberi® expansion joints are meant to be installed where a permanent joint movement is necessary. The range includes expansion profiles with silicone joints as well as maintenance-free solutions entirely made of aluminium.

Assembly instructions

Fastening method - for screwing:

Cut profile to size - drill holes - insert dowels - screw profile in place - or screw in place directly

Fastening method - for gluing:

Cut profile to size - substrate should be level, firm, dry and load-bearing - clean substrate with a suitable cleaner - remove protective film - position profile and press on - use a suitable adhesive for non-perforated profiles - fill if necessary

A line is marked on the lower expansion joint profile. This is the zero position in which the profile is laid. Expansion or contraction in both directions is only possible in this position.
